In this Wharton Entrepreneurs Workshop, Slava Rubin, W’00, the CEO and co-founder of Indiegogo, talks about crowdfunding as a recent phenomenon that is transforming the ecosystems of entrepreneurial, nonprofit, and creative industries everywhere, as well as the investment landscape.
In particular, he tells the story of Indiegogo, which he co-founded in 2008. His company’s goal: to empower anyone anywhere who has an idea to be able to raise the funds necessary to bring it to life.
